We want to showcase your simp stories in our book, successful or not! Who’s been on your mind and what did you do about it? Accepting creative nonfiction mediums of any kind (hybrid and experimental forms encouraged!), including personal essays, lyric essays, lists, dream logs, journal entries, and anything else you can think of.
Email all submissions to simpalignment (at) gmail (dot) com.
Submission Guidelines:
Include your artist name, contact information (email & phone number), a third person bio, and any relevant information about your piece (optional) in the body of your email.
Include the simp alignment category for your story in the body of the email (sun simp, moon simp, shadow simp, or earth simp). This doesn’t have to be the category you most align with generally—but rather, the alignment that your specific story falls under.
Keep your submission to 5000 words or less (not a hard limit; exceptions can be made).
Times New Roman, 12pt font preferred. PDF and DOC/DOCX accepted.
Not sure what kind of stories would fall under each simp alignment? Look below for inspiration! But remember that the alignments are flexible and up for interpretation, so take these with a grain of salt.

An extensive checklist of what you look for in a partner

Overlooking that major red flag because you were just too enamored
